For more information on changing the mode of your Multy Device, refer to Section 7.11 on page 167.
Note: Choose your device mode carefully to avoid having to change it later.
When changing to another mode, the IP address of the Multy Device changes. The running applications
and services of the network devices connected to the Multy Device may be interrupted.
6.3 Standard Mode Overview
The Multy Device is set to standard (router) mode by default. Routers are used to connect the local
network to another network (for example, the Internet). In the figure below, the Multy Device connects
the local network (LAN1LAN4) to the Internet.
6.4 What You Can Do
Use the Status screen to view read-only information about your Multy Device (Section 6.5 on page 145).
6.5 Standard Mode Status Screen
Click Settings > System > Status to open the status screen.
