Gateway I P
Address
Enter the gat eway I P address pr ovided by your I SP.
Rout ing Feature This is available only when you select I Pv4 Only or I Pv6 / I Pv 4 DualStack in t he I Pv6 /

NAT Enable Select t his option t o activate NAT on t his connect ion.
I GMP Pr oxy
Enable
I nt ernet Group Multicast Protocol ( I GMP) is a network- layer protocol used t o est ablish
m embership in a Mult icast gr oup - it is not used to carry user data.
Select t his option t o have t he Device act as an I GMP proxy on t his connect ion. This allows
t he Device to get subscribing inform at ion and m aint ain a j oined m em ber list for each
m ult icast group. I t can reduce m ulticast traffic significant ly.

Select t his opt ion to have the Device use t he WAN int er face of t his connection as the system
default gat eway.
DNS Server This is available only when you select I Pv4 Only or I Pv6 / I Pv4 D ua lSt a ck in the I Pv6 /

DNS Select D y nam ic if you want t he Device use the DNS server addresses assigned by your I SP.
Select Stat ic if you want the Device use the DNS server addresses you configure m anually.
DNS Server 1 Ent er the first DNS server address assigned by t he I SP.
DNS Server 2 Enter the second DNS server address assigned by t he I SP.
I Pv6 Address This is available only when you select I Pv6 / I Pv4 D u a lSt ack or I Pv6 On ly in t he I Pv6 /
I Pv4 M ode field.
I Pv6 Address Select Autom a t ic if you want to have t he Device use t he I Pv6 prefix from t he connect ed
rout er’s Router Advert isem ent ( RA) t o generate an I Pv6 address.
Select the Get I Pv6 Addr e ss From DHCPv6 Ser ver checkbox if you want t o obtain an
I Pv6 address from a DHCPv6 server. The I P address assigned by a DHCPv6 server has
priorit y over the I P address aut om atically generat ed by the Device using the I Pv6 prefix
from an RA. This option is available only when you choose to get your I Pv6 address
aut om atically.
Select Stat ic if you have a fixed I Pv6 address assigned by your I SP.
WAN I Pv6
Address
Enter the I Pv 6 address assigned by your I SP.
Prefix
Lengt h
Enter the address pr efix length to specify how m any m ost significant bit s in an I Pv6 addr ess
com pose t he net work address.
Next Hop Enter t he I P address of t he next-hop gat eway. The gateway is a router or switch on the
sam e segm ent as your Dev ice's int erface( s) . The gateway helps forward packets t o their
dest inations.
I Pv6 Routing
Feat ure
You can enable I Pv6 routing feat ures in t he follow ing sect ion.
MLD Proxy
