5 Mounting
5.13.8 Pressure or absolute pressure measurement of a
condensable vapor in a pipe
— Place the tap at the side of the line.
— Mount the transmitter (both pressure and differential
pressure transmitter) below the tap.
— Connect the + (H) side of the transmitter to the pipe.
— Fill the vertical section of the connecting line to the tap
with a compatible liquid through the dedicated filling tee.

— Place the tap at the top or side of the line.
— Mount the transmitter (both pressure and differential
pressure transmitter) beside or above the tap.
— Connect the transmitter to the pipe.
