The procedure below details how to remove the I/O units or Gateways.

ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD)
The unit is sensitive to ESD. Before handling the unit
please observe the safety information in section

Remove the cover of the cabinet.3
Note which connector goes
where, to facilitate reassembly.
Disconnect the connectors from the unit.4

Tip the unit away from the mounting rail and remove
it.

Refitting
The procedure below describes how to refit the I/O unit.

Hook the unit back onto the mounting rail and snap it gently in position.3
Reconnect all connectors disconnected during removal.4
