Post-lubrication is required. The post-lubrication time starts when the engine shaft is stationary.
Stop the engine
Observe the oil pressure specified for post-lubrication (see Table 4).
Run oil pump as soon as the pump driven by the engine does not generate sufficient oil
pressure.
850 LP at least 30 min.
850 HP at least 1.5 h or until turbine inlet temperature <180 °C

850 ≤ 0.034

Comply precisely with the oil pressure before the low-pressure and high-pressure stage for
trouble-free operation.
The admissible values are specified in chapter Monitoring during operation [➙ 17].
Metering orifices are installed in the oil inlet of the low-pressure stage and the high-pressure
stage in order to safeguard the oil pressures.
3.2 Inspection procedures
3.2.1 Introduction
Inspection procedures include preventative visual controls, monitoring and measuring work
before and during commissioning. Inspection procedures enable changes to the low and high-
pressure stage to be detected. Engine damage can be prevented.
