26 Installation of the Wallbox eM4Single

Proceed as follows:

1 Prepare the drilling template for insertion of the cables, if

necessary.

J If directly inserting the power line from behind, cut the

grommet marked C on the drilling template.

J If inserting the data and control cables, cut the grom-

mets marked DATA and EXT. CONTROL on the drilling

template.

NOTE

Recommended cable lengths for wiring in the wallbox

ABL recommends the following cable lengths to ensure problem-free connection in the wallbox:

x Power line: at least 130mm

x Data cable: at least 170mm

x Control cable: at least 130mm

ATTENTION

Length of data and control cable

Please note that the length of the data and control cables from the tapping point (router, switch, ripple control receiver, VDE-FNN

control box, etc.) has been tested to a maximum of 30 metres.

2 Using the spirit level, align the drilling template level and

plumb on the installation position.

3 With the pencil, mark the four ﬁxing points.
