5 Use an installation tester and a vehicle simulation adapter to

conduct all other required checks.

Conducting all necessary checks

Now conduct all locally required checks and testing of the wallbox and its electrical installation. These include the following

tests:

x Eectiveness of protective earth conductor connections

x Insulation resistance

x Loop impedance

x Voltage drop

x RCCB tripping current and tripping time

x Rotating ﬁeld testing

as well as additional tests according to local regulations.

6 Use a vehicle simulation adapter to conduct a functional test

of the charging function.

The mechanical and electrical installation of the Wallbox eM4Single is now complete and the wallbox can be set up via the ABL

Conﬁguration App.

NOTE

Removing the protective ﬁlms

The housing cover and the window of the energy meter of the Wallbox eM4Single are covered with ﬁlms to protect them during

transport. To allow better readability of the HMI and the meter display and to avoid microplastic, it is recommended that you

remove the protective ﬁlms from the housing once the installation is complete and dispose of them properly.
