Testing blood glucose
Applying blood with the test strip in the meter
When the test strip and the ashing blood drop
symbols are displayed, you have approx. 90 seconds
to apply blood to the test strip. After this the meter
turns itself off.
1 Prick the side of a ngertip with your lancing
device.
2 Encourage a drop of blood to form by gently
massaging your nger towards the ngertip.
3 Apply the drop of blood to the centre of the
orange eld and then remove your nger from
the test strip.
