Testing blood glucose
Applying blood with the test strip in the meter
When the test strip and the ashing blood drop
symbols are displayed, you have approx. 90 seconds
to apply blood to the test strip. After this the meter
turns itself off.
1 Prick the side of a ngertip with your lancing
device.
2 Encourage a drop of blood to form by gently
massaging your nger towards the ngertip.
3 Apply the drop of blood to the centre of the
orange eld and then remove your nger from
the test strip.
