If you missed the code number in the display after
you inserted the test strip, remove it from the
meter and re-insert it.
If you want to apply blood to a test strip which is
not inserted into the meter: Do not remove the test
strip until the drop symbol ashes in the display. If
you remove the test strip before this time, the
meter turns itself off.
5.6 Evaluating results
If the displayed test result reects the way you
feel, continue as instructed by your doctor. If
the displayed test result does not reect the
way you feel, please perform a performance
check with an Accu-Chek Active control
solution (see Chapter 7). Repeat the blood
glucose test afterwards. If the latest test result
still does not reect the way you feel, please
contact your doctor.
Do not change your treatment based on just
one result.
