Testing blood glucose
Flagging test results
You can ag test results to describe certain events
connected to the result or particular characteristics of
the result. You can only ag a test result while the
test strip is still in the meter and the result is being
displayed.
You can choose from 4 ags:
The Before Meals ag (apple symbol
) is intend-
ed for test results that you have measured before
your meals.
The After Meals ag (apple core symbol
) is
intended for test results that you have measured
after your meals.
The General ag (asterisk symbol
): You can
dene the meaning of this ag yourself. For exam-
ple, you can, use it for test results that you have
obtained from alternative sites or after physical
activities.
The Control ag (bottle symbol
) is intended for
performance checks in which you apply control
solution to the test eld instead of blood (see
Chapter 7).
