Recommendation is based on 75°C rated copper wire per NEC Table
310.16.

It is recommended that the circuit breaker on the input power supply lines
have a rating of 125% of the CCR’s input current, as given in Table 2-4,
unless local codes require a different rating technique. Refer to the CCR’s
nameplate for the kW rating and input voltage to determine the actual input
current from Table 2-4. If no standard-size circuit breaker exists at the
125% value, use the next larger standard-size circuit breaker.
NOTE: The currents listed in Table 2-4 represent actual input currents
assuming the worst case limits of AC 150/5345-10F for power factor,
efficiency, and number of required lamps out.
