Viewing backup data with the AI Database Viewer
software
The Advanced Instruments Database Viewer software
can be used to view backup instrument database files
on a PC.
The software can be installed from the same USB drive
that contains this user’s guide. Installation and use
instructions are available in Using the Advanced
Instruments Database Viewer Softwarescanning, which
is also included on the USB drive.
Examples of each database table showing in the
Database Viewer Software are given below.

Configuring data recording (Administrators only)
Administrators can enable and disable the recording of
results records from the DATA RECORDING tab.
1. Press the DATA RECORDING tab.
2. Select the Disable Recording Results in Database
checkbox to stop saving records to the Results
database.
The RESULTS function on the main menu is disabled
when results recording is disabled.
3. Press SAVE.
Importing/restoring database records (Administrators
only)
Use the import feature to import/restore any or all of
the following records that were backed up to a USB
drive or network folder:
• Results
• Controls
• Users
• Settings changes
• Events
