5.3.3. Configuration.
If the virtual network option is requested when purchasing the system, everything will be
configured here (the domain created and the units registered in it). If not, we will have to
connect to your network in order to configure the units in that domain.
5.3.3.1. Configuration software.
You will be provided with a file to install on the network configuration computer, which will allow
you to create an additional network card for the virtual "remote network". On the "Network
settings" window different IP addresses for "Local network" and "Remote network" will be
shown.
The remote network should be configured. Take note that the configuration PC has at least two
IP addresses, the local one and the remote one.
In the "AEQ Xpeak" software, you must specify in "File" → "Network settings", in the "Remote
network" section, the name of the virtual network or tunnel, in this example 030827CADC61,
and the terminal number, in this example 32. The IP address for the remote connection is also
shown, in this case, 192.168.100.42.
When opening the "WireGuard" remote connection software window (supplied on the USB key
that goes with the units), the configuration file parameters should appear:
