3.2.3. "Connection" menu.
By pressing the "PAGE (MUTE)" key when the
"Connection" option is visible on the screen, you
enter this menu which presents the following
options:
IP: Allows us to modify the IP address of the beltpack.
When accessing this option, the first digit of the current IP address is
selected. By pressing the "PAGE (MUTE)" key, the cursor will be
highlighted in red. By turning the right encoder, the number can be
substituted by another. Numbers from 0 to 9 can be chosen (the figure
that can be configured in each octet is limited between 0 and 255).
By pressing the "PAGE (MUTE)" key again, the cursor is highlighted back in white so by
turning the right encoder we can move to another number of the IP address. By pressing
that key again, the cursor is highlighted in red and the number can be modified. The new IP
address must be confirmed by pressing the key 4, labeled with the "Save" legend (the
changes can be discarded by means of the "Cancel" option, associated to key 3).
If the IP address you are trying to configure is not correct, the octet number is automatically
corrected to a valid value (between 0 and 255).
DHCP: Enables or disables automatic IP address configuration. When
this menu entry is highlighted, pressing the "PAGE (MUTE)" key
checks or disables this option.
Mask: Configures the mask of the subnet the beltpack is connected to.
Its max. length is 32 bits (up to 255.255.255.255).
If you are not used to this format, remember that:
24 bits is equivalent to mask 255.255.255.0
16 bits is equivalent to mask 255.255.0.0
8 bits is equivalent to mask 255.0.0.0
The procedure to change the mask and confirm the changes is the same as the one defined
for the IP address.
