Command
ABORt Command
:ABORt
The
ABORt
command resets
the trigger
system and
places all
trigger sequences
in the
IDLE
state
.
Any
actions
related
the
trigger system
that are
in progress
, such
as
acquiring
a
measurement,
are
aborted
immediately
.
The
execution of
an
ABORt
command will
set any
the
pending
operation
ags
to
false
,
for example
ags that
were set
by the
initiation
of
the
trigger
system.

Unlike
*RST
,
ABORt
does not
alter the
settings programmed
by
other
commands
.

Note
After
FETCh?
query
,
*TRG
command,
or
the
B
ASIC
command
TRIGGER
,
the
ABORt
command
causes
the
GPIB
bus
to
hang
up
.
T
o
avoid
this
,
before
ABORt
command
execution,
clear
the
gpib
bus
with
the
B
ASIC
command
CLEAR
(
address
).
