Channel
key
The
Channel
key
selects
channel
to
be displayed
or whose
value is
to be
set. The
channel
selection
is
indicated
by
the
sux
of the
displayed parameter
such as
R ,
I ,
or V
. The
channel
key
is
not
the
key
which
selects the
measurement channel,
because the
4349B always
preforms
a
measurement
simultaneously
on
all
four
channels.
V
oltage Entry
Key
The
V
oltage
Entry
key
is
used
to
enter
the
test
voltage
value
which
the
4349B
uses
to
calculate
and
display
the
resistance
value
.
The
available
values
are
from
0
0
V
to
5
kV
with
0.1
V
resolution.
The
current
setting
value
,
V1
(or
V2
,
V3
,
V4
)
is
displayed
along with
the
measurement
result.
The
default
value
is
0
V
.
Measurement
Time
K
ey
The
Measurement
Time
key
sets
the
measurement
time mode:
10
ms
,
30
ms
,
100
ms
,
or
400
ms
.
The
current
setting
is
indicated
by the
Meas
Time
annunciator(
9
).
The
default
measurement
time
is
30
ms
.
A
verage
K
ey
The
A
verage
key
sets
the measurement
averaging rate
.
The
4349B
averages
the
measurement
results
automatically
.
A
veraging
rate
can
be set
from
1
to
256.
The
default
averaging
rate
is
1.
Measurement
P
arameter
K
ey
The
Measurement
P
arameter
key
selects
the
measurement
parameter.
The
4349B
has
the
following measurement
parameters:
R Resistance
(calculated from
the
measured

value
and
voltage

entered

The
currently
selected
measurement
parameter

displayed
on
the
left
side
of
the
measurement
display

The Show Setting key changes the display mode of
the Measurement Settings
area. Each time
