Connect capacitors

Caution
Do
not
apply
a
dc
voltage
exceeding

terminals

the

's
input
circuits
will be
destroyed. Connect
a current
limitting
resistor
between
the
test voltage
source and
device under
test
to
avoid
the
over
current
when
a shorted
device is
connected.

The
measurement
system
using
the
4349B
and
the
external
voltage
source
may
output
dangerous
voltage
.

o
prevent
an
electrical
shock,
observe
the
following
safety
precautions
.
Agilent

echnologies
recommends
you
to
attach
the
safety
interlock
function
to
the
measurement
system
so
that
the
operators
can
not
touch
the
parts
where
dangerous
voltage
may
appear
.
If
not
possible
,
warn
the
operators
and
the
workers
around
the
measurement
system
not
to
touch
the
parts
.
Use
the
parts
with
the
safety
function
to
prevent an
electrical shock
caused
by
the
insulation
breakdown,
even
if
dangerous
voltage does
not
appear
on
the
parts
directly
.
Turn
OFF
the
output
of
the
external
voltage
source and
discharge
the
remanent
charge
of
the
DUT
thoroughly
,
before touching
the
measurement system
or the
DUT where
the dangerous
voltage
may
appear.
Use
the
power
cord
shipped
with
the
4349B
and
provide
an
uninterruptible safety earth ground to the instrument.
Do not apply a dc voltage exceeding
6 50 V or
6 50 mA to the INPUT
terminals.
