4 Refrigerate this solution and use on the day it is prepared
This provides 500 fg/μL at 2 μL injection volume, which equals the final 1
pg reserpine amount that is needed for performance verification.
Step 4. Set up methods and worklists
Before you begin, copy the methods and worklists according to your
instrument model.
The methods are the same for each performance verification, regardless of
whether a standard installation checkout, Marketing Bid Specification
checkout, or Instrument Detection Limit (IDL) Marketing Bid Specification
checkout is done.
For the appropriate method and worklist for your instrument, see Table 3,
“Checkout methods and worklists,” on page 61
Positive ion mode and negative ion mode checkout conditions are found in
“Positive Ion Mode Checkout Conditions” on page 106.
1 Click Method > Open and then load the appropriate MRM method. Verify
the parameters are correct for the configuration and save the method.
2 Click Method > Open and then load the appropriate scan method. Verify
the parameters are correct for the configuration and save the method.
3 Put the vials into the LC autosampler:
• Position #1: An empty, uncapped vial
• Position #2: A vial that contains the solvent used for dilution (solvent
blank)
• Position #3: A vial that contains the checkout sample (500 fg/μL)
4 Click Worklist > Open, and then open the appropriate worklist.
