Warnings and Notes
Danger:
• Only trained and qualified personnel should install or replace this equipment.
• Invisible laser radiation can be emitted from the aperture ports when no cable is
connected. Avoid exposure and do not stare into open apertures.
• Install the components after the 7750 SR-a chassis has been installed in the rack.
• Do not power up a 7750 SR-a router until all components are installed and verified.
• Before you perform any procedures in this chapter, ensure that you comply with the
general safety precautions and product requirements described in
Site Preparation on
page 47
.
Warning:
• Electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage can occur if MDA-a cards are mishandled.
Always wear an ESD-preventive wrist or ankle strap and always connect an ESD strap
to the grounding plug on the front of the chassis.
• Place the 7750 SR-a components on an antistatic surface during installation.
• Do not over-tighten the captive screws when securing modules.
