Installing a 7750 SR-a Chassis Horizontally in a Rack

To attach the ETSI adapter brackets to the chassis:
Step 1. Position an adapter bracket so that the narrower portion of the bracket with the
round threaded holes is behind the mounting flange of the chassis. The portion of
the adapter with the oval mounting holes must face outwards.
Step 2. Attach the adapter brackets to the chassis using the eight supplied 12-24 screws.
Step 3. Use a #3 Phillips torque driver to tighten the screws. Do not over-tighten. Torque
to 24 to 28 lbf-in (2.71 to 3.15 N.m).
Step 4. Repeat Step 1 to Step 3 to attach the bracket to the other side of the chassis. You
are now ready to install the chassis in the rack.
