Table 29 lists the power cord requirements for individual countries; Table 30 describes the
common grounding requirements for AC power cords for specific regions.
1. The flexible cord must be a harmonized (HAR) Type HO5VV-F, 3-conductor cord
with a minimum 0.75 mm
2
conductor size. The power cord fittings (the appliance
coupler and wall plug) must bear the certification mark of the agency responsible for
evaluation in the country where it is used.
2. Canada, Japan, Taiwan, and USA can use 100-120 V systems. In which case a
minimum 12 A cord must be used.
