NOTICE
The Compact 3010 heating system is designed to
be used with a thermostat control. This manual
includes instructions for controlling the system
using the Alde Control Panel 3010 614 (See Figure 3),
which is an optional part of the system. If your RV
has a different control system installed, please refer
to the instructions for that system.
TheAldeCompact3010boiler(Figure1)isdesigned
toprovidebothheatanddomestichotwater.Theboiler
includesbothanLPGasburnerandanelectricheating
element,andyoucanusethesystemwitheitherLPgas
orelectricity,orwithboth.Theheatingsystemconsists
oftheboilerunitaswellasanexpansiontank(Figure2),
whichisinstalledatthehighestpointontheRV.Check
withyourRVowner’smanualtodeterminewherethe
expansiontankisinstalled.Theheatingsystemworksby
circulatinghotglycoluidthroughpipesandheatconvec-
tors,similartothehydronicheatingsystemusedinmany
homes.Theboileristtedwitha12-voltelectricalcircula-
tionpumpthatisusedtocirculatetheheateduid.The
heatconvectorslocatedneartheooroftheRVallowair
tobeheatedbythehotuidinthesystem,andthenthe
airrisesandcirculatestoheatthespaceinyourRV.The
boilerisalsottedwithabuilt-inhotboiler(waterheater)
thathasavolumeofapprox.2.5gallons(8.5liters)fresh
water.TheLPGasboilercanproducearound3gallons
(12liters)of104°F(40°C)watereveryhalf-hour.Ifthe
electricheatingelementsareusedinsteadofgasforpow-
eringtheboiler,thecapacityisslightlyless.Youmayuse
theboilertoheattheRVwithoutllingthewaterheater.

The boiler comes installed with glycol heating uid.
If the uid is drained for any reason, you must
replace it before restarting the heating system.
Damage to the heating system and voiding of your
warranty could result if you attempt to start it with
no or low level of glycol heating uid.

ThecontrolsystemallowsyoutoselectLPGas,electric-
ity,orbothastheenergysource.Ifbothelectricityand
gasareselected,thesystemgivesprioritytoelectrical
power

HOT WATER HAZARD
Hot water at temperatures above 125°F (51 ºC) can
cause serious scalding injuries and in extreme
cases even death.
The boiler can deliver hot water at a temperature up
to 185°F (85°C).
– For safe operation, use a mixing valve set at
temperature no higher than 125°F (51°C).

checkthelevelofuidintheexpansiontank(SeeFigure2)
beforeattemptingtostartthesystem.
