TROUBLESHOOTING
Iftheboilerisequippedwithadigitalcontrolpanel,
alwaysstartbycheckinganyerrormessages.
(Seesection11operatinginstructioncontrolpanel)
The boiler does not start on Gas:
1. ChecktomakesurethatthereisgasintheLPGas
tank.Ifitisempty,havethetankrelled.
2. Checktomakesurethatthemaingasvalveisfully
open.Ifnot,openthegasvalvealltheway.
3. Checkthattheboilerisconnectedtotheelectricity
supply(>11VDC).
4. Checkthatthe12Vfusefortheboilerisintact.
5. Checkwhethertheelectricconnectionsontheboiler
aresecurelyinposition.
Ifnoneoftheabovehelps,contactaserviceworkshop.
The electric heating element is not working:
1. Checkthatthereisanelectricitysupply(120V~)to
thevehicle.
2. Checkthattherelaysttedtotheboilercomeon(a
slightclickcanbeheardfromtherelayswhenthe
heatingelementisswitchedonatthecontrolpanel).
Ifnoneoftheabovehelps,contactaserviceworkshop.
Control Panel is not working-Emergency start and
operation:
IftheControlPanelstopsworking,itispossibletostart
theheatermanually,toprovideemergencyheatuntil
repairscanbemadebyaservicetechnician.Followthe
instructionsbelow.Formoredetailsandanillustration,
seeSection12oftheControlPanelinstructions.
1. Disconnect12Vandthecabletothepanelonthe
heater.
2. Connectacablebetween2and9inthecontact
device(ontheheater)(Seechapter12).
3. Connect12Vtotheheater.
4. Nowtheheaterstartswithgasand1kW.
(Regulationofroomtemperaturedoesnotfunction;
thepumpoperatesconstantly.)
NOTICE
If the boiler has not been operated for some time,
or if the gas cylinder has been changed, it may take
longer than normal to light the boiler.
SHOCK HAZARD
The 120V electrical service presents a risk of elec-
trical shock. Do not attempt to service the electric
heating element yourself.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• Alwaysswitchoffthemainisolatingswitchforthe
boilerwhenthevehicleisnotinuse.
• Whenwashingthevehicle,donotspraywaterdirectly
towardstheue.
• Whencampinginwinterconditions,ensuretheue
andexhaustairvalvesarekeptclearofsnowandice.
• YoumayusetheboilertoheattheRVwithoutlling
thewaterheater.
• TheLPGasboilerandelectricelementmaybeoper-
atedsimultaneously.
• Alwaysdrainthehotwaterheateroffreshwaterwhen
thereisariskoffrostandwhenthevehicleisnotbeing
used.
• TheLPGasboilermustnotbeinoperationwhenrefu-
ellingthevehicle.
• Neverallowtheheatingsystemtostandemptyof
ethyleneglycoluid.
• Checksupplyandexhaustairintake,thevehicleis
oftenequippedwithsupplyandexhaustairvalves
(refertovehicleinstructions)thatmustnotbeblocked
asthiswillimpairtheefciencyoftheheatingsystem
andairquality,whichcanleadtocarbonmonoxide
poisoning.
NB! Close the main LP Gas valve in the following
circumstances.
• Whenthevehicleisnotbeingused
• TurnOFFLPGassupplytankwhenvehicleisinmo-
tion.Thisdisablesallgasappliancesandpilotlights.
Gasappliancesmustneverbeoperatedwhilevehicle
isinmotion.
• Whenrepairingtheboiler.
• WhenleaksintheLPGassystemaresuspected.
