Union Directives
This product has the CE marking and is approved for installation within the
European Union and EEA regions. It has been designed and tested to meet the
following directives.
Machine Safety Directive
This product is designed and tested to meet the European Council Directive
2006/42/EC on machinery and the following standards.
• IEC/EN 61508 — Functional safety of electrical/electronic/
programmable electronic safety-related systems
• IEC/EN 62061 — Safety of machinery — Functional safety of
safety-related electrical, electronic, and programmable electronic
control systems
• EN ISO 13849-1 — Safety of machinery — Safety-related parts of
control systems — Part 1: General principles for design
This product is intended for use in an industrial environment.
The performance of the safety function is dependent on the structure of all
devices that comprise the safety function. The following two tables provide the
data that must be used to represent the GLP safety relay when calculating the
safety integrity level (SIL) or the Performance Level (PL).
