Who Should Use This
Manual?
Use this manual if you are responsible for designing, installing, programming,
or troubleshooting control systems that use the guard locking with proximity
(GLP) safety controller.
You must have a basic understanding of electrical circuitry and familiarity with
safety-related control systems. If you do not, obtain the proper training before
using this product.
Purpose of This Manual
This manual is a reference guide for the GLP safety controller, plug-in
modules, and accessories. It describes the procedures that you use to install,
wire, and troubleshoot your controller. This manual explains how to install and
wire your controller. It also gives you an overview of the GLP controller system.

Series Firmware Description
A 100 Initial release. Logic settings 1…4 functions only; 5…8 reserved for future use.
A 202 Added logic settings 5…8 (CU2 functionality).
