3.6. Lubrication and Maintenance Operations
Following 250 hours of operation (3 months)
3.6.11. Engine oil exchange
Prepare an appropriate vessel of ca 9 l (2,4 galUS) capacity.•
Remove drain plug (1) and let the oil ow out.•
Check the drain plug gasket, replace if damaged. •
Check the thread and clean seating face for gasket. •
Reinstall the plug. Torque is 50 Nm (37 ft lb).•
Clean the surface round oil lter head. Remove the lter.•
Clean seating face for lter gasket.•
When draining the oil temperature shall
not be over 60°C (140°F) – risk of burn.
