12. Calibration
The instrument is calibrated in accordance with ISO 11943.
The equipment used for the calibration is primary calibrated in accordance with ISO 11171 and therefore traceable to
NIST SRM 2806A.
The sign μm (c) indicates the particle size calibration using ISOMTD test dust.
The calibration certificate for initial calibration is valid for 18 months. Each subsequent certificate is valid for 12 months.
12.1 Calibration note
This function is only available from software version 2.00.15 and is deactivated ex works.
A necessary calibration is signalized through a message on the display. See the following figure. The device is still fully operable and
provides measurement results. The message can be acknowledged by pressing the enter key [ ] for 2 seconds.
From this point, the message reappears after 500 / 800 and 900 hours. The device is still fully operable and provides measurement
results. The message can be acknowledged by pressing the enter key [ ] for 2 seconds.
After 1000 hours, the message flashes every 2 seconds. The device is still fully operable and provides measurement results.
An acknowledgement is not possible.
CALIBRATION
NECESSARY
Resetting the calibration note on the display can only be carried out by ARGO-HYTOS service.
The remaining hours until the appearance of the first message can be retrieved in the device menu under
"SENSORPARAM > BETRIEBSSTD“ ("HOURSCALE“).
