If the starter button is pushed with the ignition switch in the “ON” position and the
emergency stop switch in the “OFF” position, the starter motor will be activated but
the engine will not start. Premature starter failure may occur. Ensure the emergency
stop switch is in the “RUN” position.
CAUTION
Emergency Stop Switch
When the emergency stop switch is
in the “RUN” position, the engine will
operate. When the switch is in the “OFF”
position, the engine will not operate.
This switch is intended primarily as a
safety or emergency control and should
normally remain in the “RUN” position.
NOTE: If you stop your ATV by turning the emergency stop switch to the “OFF”
position, be sure to turn the ignition switch to the “OFF” position to prevent battery
discharge.
