Rear Gear Case Oil Inspection
Any lubricant used in place of the recommended lubricant may cause serious damage.
CAUTION
Operation - Before You Ride
To add engine oil:
1. Remove the oil ll cap (1).
2. Add appropriate type and amount
of oil; then install the oil ll cap.
Tighten securely.
3. Check the oil level through the
inspection window.
4. The oil level should be between the
maximum “H” mark and minimum
“L” mark.
If the level is low, add specied oil
to raise it to the proper level.
NOTE: The ATV should be parked
on level ground, with the engine key
switch in the “OFF” position.
1. Remove the oil level check bolt /
washer (2).
2. Ensure oil level reaches the oil
level check hole.
3. Install the oil level check bolt /
washer. Tighten to 15 ft lb (20 N-m).

Ensure no foreign material enters the gear case.
