General Maintenance
4. After the oil has completely drained, reinstall the oil level drain plug / washer.
Tighten to 15 ft lb (20 N-m).
5. Pour the recommended amount and type of gear case oil into the oil ll hole.
6. Ensure oil level reaches the oil level check hole.
7. Install the oil ller cap. Tighten to 11 ft. lb (15 N-m).
Install oil level check bolt / washer. Tighten to 15 ft lb (20 N-m).
8. Install the skid plate.
Front Gear Case Oil Inspection
Any lubricant used in place of the recommended lubricant may cause serious damage.
CAUTION
NOTE: The ATV should be parked
on level ground, with the engine key
switch in the “OFF” position.
1. Remove the oil level check bolt (1).
2. Ensure oil level reaches the oil
level check hole.
3. Inspect o-ring for any damage.
Replace if necessary.
4. Install the oil level check bolt /
o-ring. Tighten to 7.2 ft lb (10 N-m).
Ensure no foreign material enters the gear case.

Front Gear Case Oil Change
NOTE: The ATV should be parked on level ground, with the engine key switch
in the “OFF” position to assure complete and rapid draining.
1. Place a suitable drain pan under the oil drain plug.
2. Remove the oil ller bolt and oil drain plug bolt.
3. Inspect o-ring for any damage. Replace if necessary.
