Parking
Parking requires following the previous
rules of braking; then:
1. When the ATV comes to a complete
stop, shift ATV into the “P” (Park)
position.
2. Stop the engine using the engine
stop switch located on the handlebar.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the “OFF”
position.
4. Engage the parking brake.

WARNING
POTENTIAL HAZARD
Parking on a hill or other incline.
WHAT CAN HAPPEN
ATV could roll out of control, increasing the risk of an accident or injury.
HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
Whenever possible, avoid parking on hills or other inclines. If you must park on an incline,
shift the ATV into the park “P” position. Apply the parking brake, and block the front and rear
wheels with rocks or other objects.
Do not park the ATV at all on hills that are so steep you could not walk up them easily.
Parking on a Slope
1. Bring the ATV to a complete stop by applying the brakes.
2.
Stop the engine.
3.
With the rear brake applied, shift ATV into the “P” (Park) position.
4. Engage the parking brake.
Stopping the Engine
To stop the engine, slide the emergency stop switch to the “OFF” position or turn the
ignition switch key to the “OFF” position.
NOTE: If you stop your ATV by turning the emergency stop switch to the “OFF”
position, be sure to turn the ignition switch to the “OFF” position to prevent battery
discharge.
