The bed continuously transmits data about its status through an RS232 connection at
the head end of the bed (see page 19).
The transmitted data can be recorded by a compatible device.

Data is transmitted every ten seconds and includes the following information:
• Patient weight
• 9DUL=RQH3DWLHQW0RYHPHQW'HWHFWLRQ / Bed exit alarm (on or off)
• Backrest angle in degrees relative to horizontal
• Bed height at low position (yes / no)
• Side rail position (up / down)
• Brake position (on / off)
This information can be stored in a database.
