Citadel Bed Frame System

The bed continuously transmits data about its status through an RS232 connection at
the head end of the bed (see page 19).
The transmitted data can be recorded by a compatible device.

Data is transmitted every ten seconds and includes the following information:
Patient weight

Backrest angle in degrees relative to horizontal
Bed height at low position (yes / no)
Side rail position (up / down)
Brake position (on / off)
This information can be stored in a database.
