2.2.2 Cable Entry
There are six coaxial cable entry ports on the housing base (Figure 2.4). Generally, ports P1, P3, P4,
and P6 are for RF and AC input power, and ports P2 and P5 are for AC only. See 4.4 RF Coaxial Cable
Connections on page 4-6 and 4.5 Power Cable Connections on page 4-8 for coaxial cable connection
procedures. (P2 and P5 can also carry RF—contact ARRIS Field Services for information about
routing RF through P2 and P5.)
There are two fiber optic cable entry ports on the lid. See 4.6 Fiber Optic Cable Connections on page
4-8 for fiber optic cable connection procedures.
