RF Cabling—Lid Motherboard to RF Amplifier Tray
RF connections between the RF amplifier tray and the lid motherboard are made through short
coax cables. The number of coax cables depends on the number of forward and return segments,
and on the RF amplifier tray type. Connect the coax cables per Table 3.4 for OA4324HG RF
amplifiers.

Note
If this node is configured for forward RF path switching, connect forward
cables to the RF jack on the applicable FS4x21 instead of FWD B / FWD C on the lid
motherboard.
One return segment
Use plug-in RS4000-xx
Two return segments
Two transceivers
Two return segments
One transceiver
Return path RF cables determine the return path segmentation scheme (1 or 2 segments). Return plug-in
RS4000-00 or RS4000-SW is required for either case.
