2.4 Local Signal Insertion
There are applications where local network conditions demand adding remote security cameras,
channels or groups to a specific area or building serviced by an NC4000 node. In these special
applications the NC4000 Optical Node provides physical connections to externally manipulate
normal CATV signals through the use of couplers, band-stop or band-pass filters to accomplish the
signal addition at a local level.
