4.7. Prog
By pressing Prog repeatedly, you will cycle through KeyLab Essentials main modes.
• Arturia: This mode is used to control any instrument in your computer.
• DAWs: This mode enables the scripts written especially for these DAWs: Live,
Logic Pro, Bitwig Studio, FL Studio, and Cubase.
• User: You can use up to 6 User Programs of presets, i.e. those that are enabled in
MIDI Control Center.

! Alternatively, you can hold Prog and select any mode by pressing the appropriate Pad. ! When
controlling your DAW using the MCU/HUI protocol, KeyLab Essential may be in any Prog mode (Arturia,
DAWs, or User 1–6).
