The Scale display actually shows you what notes are included in the scale you have chosen.
Please look at the small keyboard in the Display.
The white notes are included in the scale and the black ones are omitted. The root key is
marked by an arrow.
To get back to standard keyboard mode (no Scale selected), press the Scale button.
! When Scale is active, the Scale button shines brighter. ! Scale only works in conjunction with
the keys, not the pads. ! The Scale Play mode (whether the scale is active or not) and the Scale Edit
mode (where you tweak the scale) are somewhat independent of each other, i.e. the Scale doesn't
automatically become active just because you enter Scale Edit mode. Also, quitting Scale Edit mode
doesn't turn off the Scale function.
