With the Hardware Interlock in place, the standard interlock is hard wired into the HV
control relay that connects the amplifier board to the high voltage output. In the event
that the interlock is interrupted, the relay connected to the high voltage transformer will
open dropping the voltage on the output to zero. This also makes an interlock disable
possible in the event that the CPU is interrupted. If the link from the standard interlock
to the CPU fails or the CPU itself fails, the direct hardware link ensures that high
voltage will be shut off.
58 Disable RUN/LLT GFI (8206, 8207, 8256, 8257)
With this option installed the instrument will not detect RUN or LLT, DUT GFI failures.
All other specifications remain the same. Refer to the Specifications section of OMNIA
II Operation and Service Manual, for a complete list of all specifications.
