The calibrated leaks must be used with clean dry air.
9 These leaks must not be dipped in or sprayed with water. It is essential that they are stored
in their case after usage.
9 The leaks must be checked periodically by the company’s metrology department or by
ATEQ’s metrology service.
9 Check that there is an O-ring seal and that it is in good condition.
9 To check that the leak has not been plugged, attach a piece of flexible tubing to the leak and
submerge its extremity in the water to look for bubbles. This test should be performed using
a pressure instrument only not vacuum ATEQ instrument.
