The pneumatic
vibration unit and
bowl spring are
mounted on a bracket
on the underside of
the bowl. There are
three additional bowl
springs mounted to the
underside brackets of
the bowl.
Each spring is secured
to the bowl base plate.
The base plate is tted
with four rubber spring
mounts that prevent
vibration resonating
throughout the unit.
The vibration unit is a pneumatic piston vibrator. The vibration will increase as the pressure
increases. An in-line regulator adjusts the pressure and hence vibration frequency of the Bowl.
During installation the vibration frequency is adjusted to match the rivet size and type.
The vibration unit regulator can be adjusted to optimise rivet ow.
CAUTION
A poorly set vibratory unit can seriously impact rivet feed reliability.
The vibration intensity setting however, should be individually
established and match-marked for each Bulk Feeder
