7. 6 Removing a Rivet That Fails Rivet Length Check
CAUTION
Do NOT use a magnetic device to purge the escapement of rivets.
METHOD 1
Easiest option to
remove a singular
fault rivet is to remove
the T-Tube from the
escapement by undoing
the thumb screw and
manually cycle the
gate using the solenoid
override.
The rivet will fall out of
the escapement.

Another method is to
remove the clear gate
cover and remove the
erroneous rivet.
