4. 7 Standard Control Module
The control module is located under the cover
and tted to a rail on the plate assembly.
It consists of a programmable PLC with an
associated digital input card for the sensors
and digital output card for the solenoid
valves and prime track button. There is also a
terminal blocks for the associated electrical
wiring. The programmable PLC has two
Ethernet ports which connect to the bulk
plate at the rear of the unit.
It needs to receive signals from a Unity panel
or Robot Controller to feed rivets to any other
piece of equipment.
Communication between the Controller and Bulk Rivet Feeder is made via the control module
using Ethernet.
Each Compact Bulk Rivet Feeder system BL20 module is assigned a unique node address
which is set by dials on the unit.

Fitted to the left side mounting via bracket is the main lter. The incoming mains air supply hose (6
bar) is ltered before transfer into the system.
NOTE
This lter is a particulate lter. The customer needs to ensure their air
inlet to the unit is free from contaminants such as oil and water.
