Introduction
Applies to vehicles with Audi connect
With Audi connect services, on line information is
transmitted and integrated direct ly in the vehi-
cle .
A mob ile end dev ice can be used to access the In-
ternet through a Wi-Fi hotspot, either when the
vehicle is stationary or from the rear seat when
the vehicle is in motion.
_& WARNING
- To reduce the risk of an accident, on ly use
Audi connect serv ices when road and traffic
condit ions perm it. Always read the chapter
~ page 98, Traffic safety information .
- It is only safe to use tab lets, laptops, mo-
bile devices and other s imilar dev ices when
the vehicle is stationary because, like all
loose objects, t hey could be thrown around
the ins ide of the vehicle in a crash and cause
ser ious injur ies. St o re these types of devi ces
sec urely whi le driving.
- To reduce t he risk of an accident, use the
Audi connect serv ices wit h a Wi-Fi hotspot
only in t he rear seat when the vehicle is in
motion or only when the vehicle is station-
ary.

Audi connec t is designed for use only with the
prov ided SIM card . Aud i AG is not liable fo r
the consequences of using other SIM cards .

Setup
Audi connect requirements
Applies to vehicles with Audi connect
An Internet connect io n is requ ired to use Audi
connect . The following requ irements must be
met to establish a connection:

Audi co nn e ct
- The Audi connect SIM card must be inserted in-
to the SIM car d reader for the MMI.
- A data con nection must be configured for Audi
connect services.

The data connection for Aud i connect servi ces
is preconfigured at the factory. You can
change the data connection at any time if you
need to adjust the configu ration
