Coming home, Leaving home
The com ing home func t ion illuminates the are a
out side t he vehicle when you tur n the ignition off
and open the dr iver's door. To switch on the func-
tion, se lect
Entry/exit lighting .
The leav ing home illuminates t he a rea outs ide
the vehicle when you unlock the vehicle . To
switch on the f unction, select Entry/exit light·
ing.
The coming home and leaving home funct ions
on ly operate when it is dark and the light sw itch
is in the AUTO position.

• Press the ~ but t on to swit ch the eme rgency
flasher s on or off.
You can indicate a lane change or a tu rn when the
emergency flas hers are sw itched on by us ing the
t ur n sig nal lever. The emergency flashers stop
t empo rar ily.
The eme rgency flashers also work when the igni-
tion is turned off .
(D} Tips
You s hou ld sw itch the emergency flashers on
if:
- You are the last car in a t raff ic jam so that
a ll othe r vehicles approach ing from beh ind
ca n see you, or if
- Your vehicle has bro ken down or you are
having an eme rgency, or if

- Your vehicle is be ing towed or if you are
towing another ve hicle .

contro lled automatically.
A switch is no longer neede d to sw itch the read -
ing lights on.
A swiping movement or a brief tap
on the light is all that is needed to sw itch the
light on or off . If you ho ld your finger on the
read ing ligh t when switching it o n, this can d im
t he light dow n to a certai n level.
Interior lighting
The re are other inter ior light ing funct ions that
are ava ilab le. Several functions can be set in the
Infotainment system . Select in the Infota inment
system:
