Switch on the right or left parking light if
possible.

the light ing systems described .

- The light sensor for the automatic head-
lights* is in the rearview mirror mount.
Therefore, do not place any stickers in this
area on the windshie ld.
- Some functions of the exterior lighting can
be adjusted

- If you turn off the ignition whi le t he exterior
lights are on and open the door, you will
hear a warning tone.
- In some markets, the ta il lights will sw itch
on when the daytime runn ing lights sw itch
on.
- In cool or damp weather, the inside of the
headlights, turn signals and tai l lights can
fog
over due to the temperature d ifference
between the inside and outs ide. They will
clear short ly after sw itch ing them on . This
does not affect the serv ice life of the light-
ing .
Turn signal and high beam lever
The lever operates the turn signals, the high
beams and the headlight flasher .

er into a turn signal position when the ignition is
sw itched on.

Move the lever to the corresponding position:

this reason, only use the high beams or the
headlight flasher when they will not create
g lare for other drivers .
Adjusting the exterior lighting
The func tions are adjusted in the Infotainment
system .

Automatic headlights
You can adjust the following se tt ings in the Au-
tomatic headlights

Act ivation tim e - you can adj ust if the headlights
switch on Early, Medium or Late accord ing to t he
sens it ivity of t he light sensor .
Audi adapt ive light * -you can sw itch adap t ive
light On and Off.
Daytim e running lights*
USA models: the daytime running lights can be
swit ched on or off using the MMI. Select On or
Off.
Canada models: this function cannot be sw itched
off. They activate automat ically each time the ig-
nition is switched on. This menu item is shown
with a "g ray background" .
