Switching on and off

The system can be sw itched on/off in the Info-
tainment system.

An activated system will signal every time the ig-
nition is switched on by turning the disp lays in
the exterio r mirrors on briefly.
Adjusting the display brightness
Applies to: vehicles with Audi side assist
The display brightness can be adjusted in the In-
fotainment system .

The display brightness adjusts automat ically to
the br ightness of the surroundings, both in the
information and in the warning stage . In very
da rk or very bright surroundings, the display is
a lready set to the mi nimum or maximum level by
the au t oma t ic adj ustmen t . In s uch cases, you
may notice no change when adj usting the br ight-
ness, or the change may only be noticeable once
the surroundings change .
Adjust the brig htness t o a level where the disp lay
in the information stage will not d isrupt you r
view forward. If you change the brightness, the
disp lay in the exterior mir ror will briefly show the
brightness level in the information stage. The
brightness of the warning stage is linked to the
brightness in the information stage and is adjust-
ed along with the information stage adjustment.

- Side assist is not active wh ile you are mak-
ing the adjustment.
- Your settings are automatically stored and
assigned to the remote control key being
used.

The radar sensors' vision is affected. Do not cover
the area in front of the sensors with bike whee ls,
stickers, dirt or other objects. Clean the area in
front of the sensors, if necessary

Side assist cannot be switched on temporarily be-
cause there is a malfu nction (for example, the
battery charge level may be too low) .

The system cannot guarantee that it will detect
vehicles correctly and it is sw itched off . The sen -
sors have been displaced or a re faulty. Have the
system checked by an autho rized Audi deale r or
a utho rized Audi Serv ice Facility soon.

Introduction
Appli es to: vehicles with Audi drive select
Drive select ma kes it possib le to exper ience dif-
ferent types of vehicle sett ings in one ve hicle.
The driver can select from three modes,
Comfort,
Auto
and Dynamic, using the~:/:-.~ button in the
center console or by using the Infotainment sys -
tem. This allows you to switch between a sporty
and a comfortable driving mode, for example. In
the
Indi vidual mode, the sett ings can be adjust-
ed to your persona l preferences . This makes it
poss ible to comb ine settings such as a sporty en-
gine tuning with light steering . ..,.
