The ashtray is placed in the center console under
the center armrest . Lift up the cover to open. In-
sert the ashtray sec urely back into the holde r af-
ter eve ry remova l (empty ing).
A WARNING
Never use the ashtray to hold paper, because
this increases the risk of a fire .

ret te lighter, if necessary .

.,. Remove the cigarette lighter when it pops out.

The ciga rett e lighter has a standard 12 Volt sock-
et that e lectrical accessories can be connect ed to.
The power consumption at the outlet must not
exceed 100 watts.
A WARNING
Use care when using the cigarette lighter. In-
attentive or unsuperv ised use of the cigarette
lighter can cause burns.

- To reduce the risk of damage to the sockets,
only use plugs that fit correctly.
- The cigarette lighter socket should only be
used as a power source for electrical acces-
sories for a s hort period of time. The sock-
ets* in the vehicle should be used for longer
use of power supply .
@ Tips
- The ve hicle battery drains when accessories
are turned on but the engine is off.
- The veh icle battery must not be charged us-
ing a commerc ially available small charg ing
device, wh ich is connected to the cigarette
lighter or socket .
