The radio or media playback is muted during a
phone call .
During a phone call
Applies to: vehicles with telephone
Requirement: there must be a call in progress .

Press the right contro l button .
The fo llow ing options are possible dur ing a call
depending on the ce ll phone being used and t he
type of connection:
- Making an addit ional call : Select: Find contac t
> Call list / Directory / Favorites > an entry from
the list .
- Acce pting an incoming call when ther e is an
act ive call and a call on ho ld:
select Replace .
The active ca ll is replaced with the incoming
ca ll.
- Answe ring an additional call : if the re is an in-
coming call while another call is active, you can
select
Accept call to put the existing call on
ho ld and answer the incoming call. If you select
Igno re call, the incoming call will be ignored .
Additional functions include:
Mute: if you se lect and confirm th is function , the
other pe rson on the phone cannot hear you. You
can hea r the other perso n.
Hold call/R esume : you ca n p lace the exist ing ca ll
on hold and resume it again. To resume the call,
selec t and confi rm the ca ll you wo uld like to re-
sume.
Transfe r call to ce ll phone *: se lect and confirm
Transfe r call to cell phon e to tra nsfer the exist-
ing call from the MMI to your ce ll phone .
Switch to hands-fr ee mode *: select and confirm
Switch to hands-fr ee mo de to transfer the call
from your cell phone back to the MMI.
Toggle call : alternate between two phone calls
while one of the calls is on hold . Select ing
End

will end the active phone call. A phone call on
hold can be resumed through the right control
button >

Replace the call or Ignore call.

- To be notified of an incom ing call dur ing a
phone call, the call wa iting function in your
cell phone must be switched on when using
the hands-free profile
(Handsfree) .
- You can obtain more info rmation from your
cell phone service provider or from your cell
phone user guide.
- The d isplay of an incoming phone call in the
Infota inment display may sti ll be visible for
a few seconds depend ing o n the cell phone
in use. Using the
Replace o r Ignor e func -
t ions may then end the act ive phone ca ll.
Favorites
Applies to: vehicles with telephone
Up to SO contacts, in addition to the voicemail
number , can be stored in any order in the favor-
ites List.

Select: ! MENU I button> Telephone > left con-
trol button.

selec t and confi rm Call list/Contact s. Se-
lect and confirm a contact in the list. Select a
phone number . Select: right control button
