- The camera field of view ~ page 78, fig. 76 is
dirty or covered in ice. Clean this area on the
windshield.
- The camera field of view is fogged ove r. Wait
unt il the fog has cleared before sw itching the
active lane assist on again.
- The system has been unab le to detect the lanes
for an extended period of time due to road con-
ditions. Switch the active lane assist back on
when the lines are more visible.

malfunct ion corrected.
Audi active lane assist : Please take over steer-
ing!
This message appears if you are not steering by
yourself. If th is is the case, active lane assist does
not switch off, but it is "not ready " to provide a
warn ing . The system can he lp you keep the vehi-
cle in the lane. However, you a re respo nsible for
driving t he vehicle and must st eer it yourself .
Adjusting the steering time and vibrat ion
warning

You can adjust individual active lane assist set-
tings in the Infotainment system.
Select in t he Infotainment system: I MENU j but-

Early: in this setting, t he cor rective steering hap-
pens continuously to help keep the veh icle in the
center of the lane .
Late: in this setting, the system provides correc-
tive steer ing j ust before a ve hicle wheel touches a
detected lane marker line .
Vibration warning
You can switch the addit ional vibrating warning
in t he st eer ing whee l on or off.
