App lies to vehicles with Audi connect
You can access the mos t important functions in
your Twitter account through your MMI.
Requirement:
You must have a Twitter account.
You must have connected your myAud i account
with Twit t er. Add itiona l informa t ion on t his ca n
be found in t he
Audi connect (myAudi) operating
manual under my .audiusa.com.
You must have connected your vehicle with
myAudi ~ page 124.
.. Select Twitter > left control butto n > desired
function
(fo r example, Trends).
The fo llow ing categories can be selected in the
Twitt er menu :
- My Tweets : News Feed and the Tweets you have
posted are listed.
- Home : the Tweets for everyone yo u follow are
displayed.
- Trends: topics on Twitter that are currently
popular within a country .
Different func t ions are availab le depending on
the Twitte r category you have selected:
- New tweet : you can post a new tweet using
pre-made templa t es or us ing cus t omized tem -
plates in your myAud i account.
- Refresh: the sele cted Twitter fu nction is re-
freshed.
- Favorite: set a Tweet as favorite to show you
liked it .
- Retweet : you can quo t e a Tweet to share it with
othe rs.

- You can find additional info rmation on con-
nect ing yo ur myAud i account with Twitter in
the
Audi connect (myAudi) ope rating man-
ual at www.aud i.com/myaudi .
- Other settings such as account, language,
Tweet security and locat ion sett ings
cannot
be changed in the MMI. These changes must
be made on the Twitter website .
- You can only connect
one Twitter account
with your myAudi account.
- Audi connect makes it possib le to access
Twitter. Permanent availability cannot be
guaranteed, because that depends on Twit -
ter .

- For the Map update Audi connect serv ice us-
ing an SD card, check the cur rent software
vers ion in your vehicle an d compare it with
my .au di usa .com to see if a new version is
available . You can also have the new naviga-
tion data installed by an Audi dealer, wh ich
can be done for an additional cha rge.
